THE NEOTAB - by RAMZI & STEVEN

THE NEOTAB - by RAMZI & STEVEN

Ghanaians Announce Their First Android Tablet! We have seen the proof via YouTube, now, get to know the two brilliant young minds behind the Neotab. WolfPack Proudly salutes our two new Featured talents for April 2012! Ramzi and Steven.

For those who are yet to find out, here is what you need to know about this major advance in technology by two of our own.

One of the main aims of the NeoTab is directed towards affordability; this product is unlike the high-end tablets that have prices inflated because of their brand names. The NeoTab was developed fully; a lighter, smaller and cheaper tablet that we believe will satisfy our consumers. We then started brainstorming to see where there was an opportunity for our game-changing idea. The educational system in Ghana is lacking seriously when it comes to technology. Students are becoming more and more visual. A student that is a visual leaner and has a NeoTab at their disposal would benefit ten times more than a student that doesn't because they would have the limitless opportunities that NeoTab could expose them to.

This is going to both move our country and continent  in a new direction and encourage our local text book authors to create e-books. It will also increase the use of international e-books and thus promote our upcoming application developers to create more applications that will satisfy the needs of our local community. We considered several cons of using tablets in the educational system, like distractions etc. But there are custom applications a school can have which won't allow students to have access to distractions and rather focus on achieving a holistic education.

We aim not only to put the country on the map as a technological power house in the region, but we also aim to further familiarise people less fortunate with products like this. We also to aim to inspire other young people like ourselves to take the initiative and make something their country can be proud of.

We aim to help businesses be more efficient and students be more resourceful. We aim to change and usher in a neo perspective on e-commerce, we envision less cash and more plastic, and have online banking be part of our present.

Neo means New in Greek and with a lot of young people throwing their hats into this neo ever expanding economy in Ghana we thought it might be fair to add ours as well.

As of now, we are still working on coming up with different versions which we can officially debut in Ghana this July. Through NeoTab, users won't just experience a new technological addition but rather the future of Ghana and Africa as a whole.
